What's red, and green, and leopard printed? The new DKNY collection, of course! Ok, lame attempt at humor aside, I think this collection is definitely hot. Very New York, very chic, very wintery, and very cute. The only thing I don't like is (you guessed it) the price. But, blame the consumer in me, I immediately went and bought a number of pieces. I mean, how could I resist? Have you looked at those dresses and jackets?

But now it's your turn. What's your favorite piece (or pieces, you're totally allowed to have more than one!)?

Second post, here we come! I'm good :)

This time around, Kohls. Who's excited? I know I certainly am! Fun Kohls clothes for Non-Superstars? Count me in. As with any store, there are some hits and misses (like that suit.... I'm still not sure what exactly I think about it), but on the whole, I'm a fan.

Here's my review of the whole thing.

The Candies collection is super cute, from the checkered coat, to the purple belted shirt, to the peep-toe heels. I'm in love with the bag the Britney doll is holding and that black skirt in the back is oh so sweet. However I'm not sure what to think of the plaid blouse on the far right... is it supposed to be bat wing? And compared to past collections, the pants aren't too impressive this time around. But on the upside, I like the necklace that pants suit model is sporting. Over all? A -

Oh Abbey Dawn.... where to start? I've never been a fan of an entire Abbey Dawn collection and this one didn't make me change my mind. I'm of the opinion that everything looks like it's completely ill-fitting and is just overall not visually pleasing. That's not to say that I don't find ONE thing I like. This time around it was the black and pink dress that Avril's is modeling. I love it! This is one case where girly-rock works. For me, that dress is the saving grace of this entire collection. C +

Now for my personal favorite, Mudd. The Mudd collections continually impress me, they're full of cute, casual clothes that I can easily imagine myself wearing not only on my MeDoll but also in real life. I love the checked purple shirt, the gray sweater dress is adorable, the jeans are great, the bag is fun, the puffer vest, hat, and scarf are cute, what more can you ask for in a collection? Great shoes, you say? Well you're right, there. But incredibly they've got those too! Boots! How nice. I like it, Stardoll. I really do. A +

Holiday Party Themes

Hey guys! Lydia here, just in case you've forgotten who I am. That's what college does to you I suppose though. First semester is finished and I love it! I'm on break right now, so I figured I'd do a couple of updates on the old blog. Look for a number of posts in the next few days! :)

First things first though, the holiday themes Stardoll has released! For those who have been living under a rock for the past, oh I don't know, MONTH, Stardoll has opened a Holiday Boutique with two major themes

1) Golden Indulgence

2) Ribbons and Bows

The themes are pretty nice too! One look at the first floor of the shop and this much is clear, bright colors and ruffles are definitely hot this holiday season.

Another trend is prevalent on the second floor: gold. Let's just say there's a reason Stardoll called it "GOLDEN Indulgence."

I'm excited for this one: gold is a great color. It looks great on almost everyone, brightening skin tones and making a statement when worn as a dress (such as the ones below).

However my all-time favorite trend of this holiday season is definitely jewel tones. Just take a look at that GORGEOUS purple dress on the third floor! I'm also loving the off the shoulder red dress and military-inspired high waisted pants suit behind it.

But there's one thing that's definitely not hot, no matter the season -- and I'm not talking about the see-through blouse on the second floor of the holiday boutique. What's with those prices? 18 Stardollars for a single dress? I can make whole outfits for that much! Thankfully they've been fair and kept most of the shoes and bags Non-Superstar, but still. Yikes. I for one think low prices in a holiday shop would be a fabulous Christmas present. Who's with me?

Is anyone else finding themselves bored of Stardoll? Where's the excitement? The thrill of new releases? Or even a new nonSS perk?! Where's it all gone?

I keep coming back to Stardoll, simply out of habit at this point, because it used to be so much fun. What about now? Sure it's still the same basic concept, but something's missing.

Thoughts?

Remember these items? You should. We saw them about eight months ago. Both the Hjabs and the Aba'as are re-releases. But you'd think that they could at least wait a little longer, right?
The only other notable item on the page is the hot buys sweater. Personally, I'm not a fan. Anyone else agree or disagree?

Limited Bags

Hey guys!

Sorry for the horrendously long wait... I just started college and I'm in the middle of orientation week. They're keeping me super busy with all sorts of fun activities and such, so even though I've tried to get on, I haven't been able to!

But now for a brief news update.

Stardoll has released a handful of Limited items, all bags this time. I don't know about you, but I'm not particularly a fan of these.... Stardoll is perfectly capable of making nicer items, especially when they've proved it a number of times. Personally, I think these bags look like they were just trying to make something really fast, just to pacify us.

Just a hint, Stardoll: when you want to make us happy, release something completely gorgeous. We'll be a lot happier then.

Candies/Kohl's New Releases

Hey guys! Sorry for the extreme lack of post-age.... I'm in the middle of play rehearsals and we perform this weekend so I've had literally no time to devote to ANYTHING online!

Anyway, lots has happened since our last post -- enough that I can't cover it all here. But something big happened this morning! Stardoll released the next Kohl's, Candies, and Abbey Dawn lines! They even went further and released a Mudd line too! How awesome is that?!

The clothes are all non-superstar, which sure made me start to cheer. I personally have more nonSS friends than SS friends, and I think it's beyond time that the nonSS users got some super cute clothes!

I ended up buying about 57 stardollars worth of clothes from the total Kohl's line :) It was all just to cute to resist. Funny thing though, in the Mudd section there's this sweet little pink shirt with peace signs all over it... I bought the same thing in blue (in real life) two days ago. It must be like the sixth sense of mine ;)

MKA sale

There's a sale at the MKA store in starplaza! Now, since it's not monthly sale time, one can only assume we're getting a new collection soon, right? Let's hope so! I'm not a huge fan of anything in the current collection (except those gray and maroon shoes! Love those!).

I'm hoping for more Elizabeth & James clothes... the new E&J collection in real life is absolutely delightful and I know we loved having E&J on stardoll, even for a little while. Maybe stardoll will surprise us and give us E&J instead of more MKA? It would certainly match the glamorati theme a bit better....

Geez, I go away and Stardoll gets crazy busy!

Let's see, how about a list of everything that's happened. That seems like a good way to do this, otherwise I doubt I'll get through it all! So we've got the makings of a HUGE post here, what with pictures and all. Well, let's get this started or we'll be here all day!

1) first things first. Glamorati. The new trend taking over stardoll. Personally, I like it. The purple dress is my favorite :) Miley Cyrus seems to be the darling of the trend, so many of the dresses are Miley dresses. Buy 'em now, folks, remember what's happened with other Miley dresses? They're now collectibles.

Speaking of Miley, recognize that white and black dress on the right? Yeah, that lovely free dress from a few weeks ago is now selling for 10 stardollars. That's right. 10 SDs versus free. And while we're talking about expensive, did anyone take a look at the price tag on that hot floral dress on the left? 16 stardollars. Outrageous!

2) New shop alert! Let's give a warm stardoll welcome to a shop that isn't filled with re-releases: Basics!
It's filled with, wait for it, basics. Now if you know me at all, you know I'm tickled pink at the idea of having a basics shop. I'm the kinda of person that loves using basic pieces, so this shop is pretty close to heaven on earth for me. I'm loving it.

3) Vivienne Tam's new collection was released! OMG! Again, very exciting. I'm in love with these colors and that black halter dress has me positively drooling. The only things I don't like are the prices. :( But be sure to pick up that darling maxi dress, it's too cute!

4) Now for a glitch. It wouldn't be stardoll without a glitch though, right? I wasn't looking forward to the newest Miley doll when I saw the preview picture (on the right) but then I saw the doll and went "what?" Those definitely aren't the same doll. But this time, I'm kind of glad. I really didn't like that preview pic!

5) Lastly, (no picture this time) there's a rumor going around on the spoiler sites that a new Elle collection is coming soon. Keep your eyes open stardollers, if this new collection is anything like the current one, it won't be one to miss.

Ok, well I think I've caught up on everything. Thanks to Maddy for keeping us alive while I was gone! :)

(oh and btw, RIP Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.)

July Hot Buys!

Hey guys! Stardoll has released the July Hot Buys, so that means it's time to find out... are they hot or not?

Tiger bodysuit: ok, seriously, my first reaction was to laugh! It's a ridiculous throwback to the 1980's and while retro is in... there's some things that should just never come back. The only thing saving this piece is the gold base color... such a hot summer color! 4/10

Pink hotpants: the thing with hotpants is, either you love 'em or you hate 'em. I'm not a fan, so I'm warning you right now, there's a bit of a bias here. The hot pink is a great color and if you like hotpants, I'm sure you'll like these. I know I won't be buying them, but I do love that color.... 6/10

Striped dress: so cute! I love it! I will so be buying this when it comes out. 10/10

Gold sandals: hmmm, I'll have to see this one on my medoll.... In the pic, it's hot. It's also a close up shot. So I'm not sure how it will translate to being on my doll. I guess I'll withhold final judgment until it's released. 8/10

Rock 'n Roll necklace: remember how I mentioned retro was in? It works here. I'm loving the record pendant, plus it's the perfect length to wear with a swim suit! Awesome! 9/10

Zebra playsuit: um... no! Playsuits work better if they're short, like romper style. Added to that, zebra print is like steak sauce, a little goes a long way. (haha, I'm so American.) 2/10

Purple tote: now that's what I'm talking about! Super cute and oh so beachy, it's perfect for a good summer-y look! I like it. A lot. 8/10

Purple sandals: they look like stuff we've seen before, just with a little more color. Tell me, stardoll, why should I pay way too much for these purple ones, when I can get them for a lot less in black? 5/10

Floppy hat: I think this one depends on the medoll. With the long haired model, it's kinda cute. I'd be curious to see how it looks on a short haired model. 7/10

Ruffle bikini: I am in love with this bikini. The ruffles make this look ultra sweet and the little bows on the sides? Darling! 10/10

Overall, the July Hot Buys faired better in the ratings than the June ones. The average rating this month is about an 8, compared to last month's 6.

Oh, just to warn you all, I won't be able to post for the next week and a half, so while I'm gone, Maddy's in charge!

New Hair and backgrounds

I'm sure by now you've all heard about the 6 new hairs that Stardoll has kindly given us for our medolls. I'm actually wearing one of them :) 4 out of the 6 are completely hot! Love them to death! The other two, eh, not so much.

Are there any that you've fallen in love with? Personally, my favorite is the one I've got on my medoll right now... the shorter, slightly windswept look. It's actually pretty close to my hair in real life!

Also, in case you haven't noticed (though I don't know why you wouldn't have) I've changed the background for the blog. This may only be a temporary fix, but who knows! Besides, this is the only one I could find that I really liked... or wasn't already being used in one of the billions of blogs I follow. Nobody likes a copy-cat now do they?

Alright, that's all for now from me! Just a quick side note before I go, I'll be unable to post next week, so you'll have to get your Hot&Not fill from our other writers :)

Dress Challenge!

Here it is: using the one of the Bisou dresses that I last blogged about (the yellow or purple, your choice!), create a summer look for your medoll. Do whatever you like with it, glam it up, rock it out, or just keep it simple... you're free to do what you please!

Boys clothes - finally! i reckon stardoll have only just realised there are boys on stardoll.
I even bought a boys top they released - though i AM A GIRL lol ;) before any rumours spread. LOL
no its really gorgeous. Its pink - its called hawaiian top and it does not fit my doll -- arrrgh.

Really sad that Bonis gone - she was amazing for this blog and so was Katie - they started this off really well (btw is katie leaving?? im not sure).

Well ive got a mini glitch to tell you - not the most interesting thing in the world but still, here it is:
You know how they've got into a habit of giving the celebs lovely *cough* not *cough* white tshirts to wear under everything (but on top of underwear)?? Well Claire Holt's got that - but its different - it goes over everything - even hair!!

Plus theres the free top for superstars in the starplaza thats meant to be a gift dress

June Hotbuys

The June Hotbuys are out! Below is my rating:

1. Pink blouse/jacket: the crop style is cute and I love the ruffled sleeves! My only thought is that it looks like it'll be difficult to pair this top with other items. 7/10

2. Purple skirt: it looks like a fish! Nice color though.... 3/10

3. Hot pink shoes: I love them! The wedge is totally hot for spring and summer and the color is so bright and eye-catching! But again, I don't what else they'll go with... 9/10

4. Pink/purple tube dress: yes, the draped look is in. Yes, the colors aren't complementary at all. No, I won't be buying it. 4/10

5. Hot pink bag: [has been released] I like the fact that it's bigger... almost a tote bag. But again, the color might prove problematic when it comes to pairing it with other items! 6/10

6. Bikini necklace: love it! Though I would love it more if it was a little shorter... 8/10

7. Watch: a watch? Yeah ok... I suppose it's cute, but I don't know how many people will buy something that small. 5/10

8. Floral dress: the floral print is a must for spring. And the fact that it's strapless? Even better. I'll be buying it! 9/10

9. "Darling" shirt dress: LOVE it! Comfortable but soo hot. 10/10

10. Floral skirt: there are times when floral is definitely a not.... I think my grandparents had a couch with that print.... 3/10

Final decision: 6/10. This month seemed to be pretty hit or miss. Some items were totally hot and some were definitely not.

Our Good Friend Boni

By now, I'm sure you've all seen that Boni has decided to leave stardoll and this blog. This was a hard decision for her and I'm sure it was even harder to go through with it. I know we'll all miss her!

A couple more things before I go:

1. Thank you, Boni, for starting this blog. It's been fun to get to know you even a little bit. Also, thank you for trusting me enough to let me take over the blog. I promise I'll keep it running and make it bigger and better than ever!

2. I know we have a club on stardoll already, but I'll be making a new one in a few days. This is just so I can keep you all updated on blog things by sending hot topics, etc. The old club will still be around, but so will a new one! I'll post here when it's created so you can all join :)

3. I'm sure you've all noticed the lack of posts.... Kind of hard not to! I'm hoping we can get this club back to what it's supposed to be about: what's hot and what's not! So expect more posts on hot&not items/outfits.

4. Also, I will be hiring new writers to help us be more active. Expect more info from the club-to-be ;) Current writers! If you could please write to me on Stardoll and let me know if you'd like to keep writing or just take a break for a while? I won't be deleting any writers unless they're extremely inactive or they ask to be removed.

5. Last thing (I promise!), this blog will only get bigger and better if we have your, the readers', input. I've posted a new poll, asking for your opinion, but if you have any ideas for the blog PLEASE message me! I guarantee I'll listen. Reader input also guarantees that you get to see/read/experience the best Hot & Not possible!

I was dreading the day I'd have to do this, but I think the time has come. I am about to leave Stardoll. I just don't have time for it anymore and I am not getting as much fun out of it anymore.

Everyone, it's been great. But I can't do this to everyone and stay while I don't post. It's time to give another blogger a chance.

It's just not worth it for me to stay.

So this is my final post, and I will quit or remove myself from every blog unless the owner does so first. I apologize for not posting, I just couldn't get myself to quit.

I want you to know that I have loved this blog with all my heart, it was the first blog I ever owned. Thank you so much for giving an inexperienced blogger like me a chance on this blog. I never thought I could love it so much, and it pains me to leave.

But its not all of elle just some of it - just the first selection.
But its still good - i bought 3 things from elle that before would have costed $21 but now is $9!

The Spring '09 collection has been released! Here's my review: patterns are IN. I'm seeing bold block prints, bright colors, and lots of lighter materials. Flowing dresses are the stars of this new collection. Flat strappy sandals also make an appearance and the best news is they're NonSS! Prices are still up, but what's new about that?

Long story short, I'm definitely buying some dresses :)

It's me (if you are that dum that you dont know who 'me' is, then i suggest you look at my header again)!!!
So again i havent posted in about 2 & 1\2 weeks but this time i have a proper reason - i was on holiday in the sun (and then it was easter and my eggs melted :(. Still yummy scrumboes though).
This time i think i might have a thing for two free tops (no cheering at the back there - i said "i think").
Its nothing special, but hey, its free.
Ok basically i live in holland and they have this thing called "Koninginnedag" - the queen's birthday and stardoll wants dutch members to dress up Princess Maxima to win a couple of outfits. And when you've saved her in your album you get a free t-shirt, and i reckon its the same for the "SPECTACULAR!" contest so heres a double pic of the two tops:

So, if you want the tops but dont want to do the competition, go to Maxima's page and Spectacular!'s page and just save them as they are, get to your album, delete them and BAM two tops in your suite.
I think anyone can do it.
I dont actually know deffo if it works so give it a try and tell me in comments!

Keep your eyes open, stardoll-ers, a new LE collection is on its way! Below are some screen caps of an email that stardoll sent out this morning. I didn't get it, but one of my nonSS friends did. Thankfully she shared it with me so that I could let everyone else know! I find it kind of ironic that SD sent an email to a nonSS but not to a SS... especially when the LE collections are known for their astronomical prices and SS status.

I'm looking forward to the flower power items. A little floral print is just the thing to brighten up a spring wardrobe!

3. Bisou Color Block Sweater #1: Ok, I don't know about the rest of you, but I remember the early-mid 90s when you could still find sweaters like this. I really don't want to live through it again.... please.

New Limited Edition Brand

So I got on SD this morning and looked at the pick of the day and said, "Oh, that must be new! I wonder what shop it's from?" So I went to the starplaza and it wasn't in the new items section. So after looking around a while I found a new shop- Antidote. It's kinda punk-y, street style, but it's also LE without having the LE label. When you click on any of the clothes it gives you the same "items left" bar. And yes, some of the prices are exorbitantly high.

But definitely check it out. Personally, there's not enough that's my style, but hey, there's too whole floors to choose from!

Inspired Looks

Hey guys! I checked the starplaza today and saw those hot purple gloves and my first thought was "Demi Lovato." So I decided to do a Demi-themed outfit! This outfit's inspired by her look in the video "Get Back" -- I think it actually turned out pretty well. The only part I couldn't do was the scarf... oh for the AJ scarf! So I substituted the heart ribbon.

If you're like me, then you already own a bunch of these pieces. So creating your own Demi look will be pretty easy! The total for me came out to 29 stardollars (they couldn't the heart ribbon twice for some reason -- silly stardoll!).

I just wanted to post about this before anyone else on this blog did.

How about... the message is EXACTLY THE SAME and so is the medoll?

These two are part of the Italian Mafia. They ask to be friends with you with the normal rubbish that people put so that you dont say no cuz its empty, and you say yes and they start sending messages to you asking stuff about you, trying to get your information, so they can guess your password and/or trying to be your best friend up til you swap passwords. She of course gives you a fake one and then hacks you and sells your rares to either to their main account cheap so they can keep it or sell it for $60 or something.

There are ways to recognise them though.
Thanks to Club Free Stuff blog (link is under their picture that i used), i found out that main suspects are: klifford.tiamo, sweetgirlicious and Rachson. And if it is them, the dolls they are using are normally *randomgirlsname*_*fournumbers*. And thats not the real name. Obviously you insert the girls name etc where the *s are.
Also they ALL have the same medoll and clothes, all have the same favourite celebrity (Aaliyah) and celebrity look alike (Alicia Keys).

Though that shouldn't stop you making friends on stardoll, just check out their medoll and etc (first check out the ones at the top so you know what you're looking for), then add them.

Just so you know and dont get hacked, but dont get totally paranoid!!

Also if someone sends you a link ending in .co.nr NEVER CLICK IT especially if you are LOGGED ON to your stardoll account as they are automatic hacks and they can get hold of your email etc aswell as your stardoll info.

Hi, i dont have long.
This post is not related to stardoll i'm afraid but i promise i WILL do a post about stardoll soon (i have quite a bit to blog about on stardoll).
I just have to say i got given a virus by accident and it's almost gone from my other computer.
The virus shuts down your computer repeatedly and takes over your msn and steals your password and when you're logged on it sends a link to all your friends and in front of it it says something like "funny photo of you" or "foto? haha" which was what i got sent.
So obviously you want to see what it is because the link ends in your email adress, so you click on it, and it says, "IMG- 32535 - save file."
DONT SAVE FILE.

It's called IMG-32535, and i'm just posting this in case it happens to you (i hope it doesnt!)

Sorry guys about the non-SD related post but i HAD to tell you.

March Hot Buys!

So I'm sure you've all seen the new March Hot Buys page of the Stardoll magazine. But I decided to procrastinate while doing my homework and rate the new hot buys. This is, after all, a hot and not blog :)

Shoes: eh. I like the design, but I don't think I have ANYTHING that will go with those colors! 5/10
Denim dress: no thanks! The gathers at the waist are a definite not. I like the cap sleeves though. 2/10
Skirt: so cute! I love the color, the pattern, the style, everything! 10/10
Pants: great, more wet looking stuff. But who knows, maybe my opinion will change once it hits the shops! 4/10
Jumpsuit: cute! I love the color. 8/10
Pink bag: pretty cute. That might go well with some dark jeans... 6/10
Bracelet: OMG I have to have it! Super cute :) 10/10
Purple dress: I won't pass final judgment yet, since it's mostly covered by the jacket. But it looks ok. 7/10
Jacket: wow, urban cowboy. Not a look I hope to try anytime soon. I know SD's trying to do a designer jacket (Chanel, I'm pretty sure), but no thanks. 4/10
Earrings: I think these would totally depend on who tries to wear them. I can see them being really cute and really not. 7/10

All in all, I'm not very impressed. We've seen much better collections. Granted there are some hot items, but as a whole, the March hb's aren't anything special.

Ok i know this post isn't related to stardoll, but it's related to something i think is really important.
When i checked out Stardoll's Most Hated Website this morning, i found a post about freerice.com.
It's a website that's sorta a revision site, as you answer loads of questions, but with a brilliant reason:
every question you get right donates 10 grains of rice to children starving in Africa.

I know what you're thinking: "10 grains of rice? thats not much!" but i have answered 258 questions so far, thus (i LOVE that word) giving 2580 grains of rice to starving children.
The sponsors of this website pay for the rice, and all you have to do is answer the questions right. Also it gives you the answer when you get it wrong, so when you've got it wrong, the next time you get it right.
Now this is something i feel really strongly about, and it has everything! Chemistry, art, languages (french, german, spanish and italian), english lit and grammar, geography and maths.

So i was just thinking, maybe if you have a test the next day and you want to get a bit of revision, or if your teacher thinks you're rubbish at whatever subject it is, just visit the site and have a go.

Sorry about this long topic but i hope it gets you trying to help!

Well this person is so stupid that, though they are selling some of it expensive, mainly they've bought it for $60 and are selling it... almost cheap.
STRANGE.
Some people really are stupid, right?

But im gonna continue anyway because i feel like ranting at someone about how stardoll keeps rereleasing (GRRR) items.

Theres more but i cant be bothered.
The shorts and the dress... I own both, and im sure i payed $6 or $7 for the dress, as it was quite old.
I admit i havent seen the corsets before, or the shoes but they look like bad graphics so im guessing they're quite old.

Another Look for Less

Ok, so I was listening to Avril Lavigne tonight and I got inspired to do another look for less piece. I decided to do a look based on one of the outfits Avril wears in "Girlfriend." (Yes, I know we have an Avril doll that has better versions of the clothes, but bear with me here.)

I was actually pretty impressed with the results! The clothes are all non superstar and available right now in starplaza.

These were the only two items i liked properly from this theme.

The first superstar hotbuys item that came out so far.
Ok its cheap but i was thinking maybe this would be the first month ever where we had all cheap nss HBs

I was so wrong.
So first all they did was keep it cheap but make it SS.
The next one that came out (ahhhhh) the AMAZING purple HBS dress. I was like "ok, they would have to make it superstar"
I didn't see the "1" before the "4".
Yess it costs 14!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
UGH.

2. I was going through dolls (i love doing this) when i found this:

Oh i know the bikini is slightly different but add/remove those red button things where needed.
Also doesn't that blue dress look like a blue version of that red dress that Amy Adams (doll) has and also was that free dress you can get by using different email addresses (click here to get to The Stardoll Insiders' post about it).

3. Also a quick little thing. I'm sure you've heard by now about the secret of moonacre shop that even if you dont have moonacre, you can still get through search... (if you haven't, you search red and pink and dresses and on the 6th page there are two, and there are a few more which if you want to know them, tell me in a comment)

I must apologize for my last post, i know it sucked! Anyhow, I plan to do better in the near.....now. So let me give you today's fashionable quote and a few tips on hotbuys in case your new.

So on the sub of hotbuys..... Make sure you buy them!! (no matter how incredibly hidious they are) and make sure you get them quick because there only out for a limited amount of time before "POOF" there gone! Today's fashion quote is: " Anything plain you can always play up. Whether it's with some fun jewlery or a big black waistband belt". I'm not done yet!! By the way, remember to visit Bonnie's pagea and Katies. I messsed up but they still gave me a second chance. Remember, whether you a size 16 on stardoll you can always be bea-youtiful!!

NEW CLOTHES IN THE STARPLAZA!

Soo hello.
So yeah i was thinking, as this is the Hot and Not of Stardoll, that i should do a sort of Hot-or-not thing.
I got to the starplaza today, and it wasnt hard at all

Fudge boys 60's polo (orange, green and yellow) $5: YUCK YUCK YUCK. That's all i need to say.
Winter jacket $5: Though purple, its too puffy and it looks like i have no neck.
Bisou skirt $5: Ughh what are you thinking, stardoll? Its all bumpy and ugh.
Evil Panda jacket $7: Umm what? The buttons are weird and its too furry.
Rio Chicas Fake Fur Jacket $6: Most of it is fine but ORANGE fur????? No.

ON THE RIGHT:
Pretty in Pink Hotbuys Bag $4: Gorgeous!!!! Luvin' it, buyin' it.
Rio Chicas Hip Belt $4: Cute.
Stardoll Wrap Skirt $5:Nice, though it looks a bit too tight for me (i prefer floaty)
Evil Panda Leggings $4: Love the frilly bit on the end.
Olsen Twins leather jacket $7: RARE RARE RARE!!! AND GORGEOUS!! OMG!! BUYING NOW!
Folk flower printed top $5: Nice but a bit dull.
HOT!

I have to hand it to stardoll, most of the items there (good and bad) were cheap and Non-SS (except the Evil Panda Jacket, the Rio Chicas Fake Fur Jacket and the Olsen Twins leather jacket).
And has anyone else realised that all these (gorgeous) January Hotbuys have been Non-SS too??

I LOVE you stardoll (but only till you do your next crap glitchy thing)

Stardoll has released it's latest set of internationally themed clothes just in time for the Eastern Orthodox Christmas (January 6th, for those who didn't know).

Personally, I like most of the items. The skirts and dress have fun floral prints yet they still have that winter flavor. The (faux) fur hat however, what were they thinking?!

OMG
....

So i put it on.. It looks terrible on me. BUT i saw the price... $5!! And Non-SS!!!
Are they just being nice to the NSS or is it a Xmas Pressie or am i dreaming... Last time i bought a HB it cost like $15.
