Inspired Looks

Hey guys! I checked the starplaza today and saw those hot purple gloves and my first thought was "Demi Lovato." So I decided to do a Demi-themed outfit! This outfit's inspired by her look in the video "Get Back" -- I think it actually turned out pretty well. The only part I couldn't do was the scarf... oh for the AJ scarf! So I substituted the heart ribbon.

If you're like me, then you already own a bunch of these pieces. So creating your own Demi look will be pretty easy! The total for me came out to 29 stardollars (they couldn't the heart ribbon twice for some reason -- silly stardoll!).

I just wanted to post about this before anyone else on this blog did.

How about... the message is EXACTLY THE SAME and so is the medoll?

These two are part of the Italian Mafia. They ask to be friends with you with the normal rubbish that people put so that you dont say no cuz its empty, and you say yes and they start sending messages to you asking stuff about you, trying to get your information, so they can guess your password and/or trying to be your best friend up til you swap passwords. She of course gives you a fake one and then hacks you and sells your rares to either to their main account cheap so they can keep it or sell it for $60 or something.

There are ways to recognise them though.
Thanks to Club Free Stuff blog (link is under their picture that i used), i found out that main suspects are: klifford.tiamo, sweetgirlicious and Rachson. And if it is them, the dolls they are using are normally *randomgirlsname*_*fournumbers*. And thats not the real name. Obviously you insert the girls name etc where the *s are.
Also they ALL have the same medoll and clothes, all have the same favourite celebrity (Aaliyah) and celebrity look alike (Alicia Keys).

Though that shouldn't stop you making friends on stardoll, just check out their medoll and etc (first check out the ones at the top so you know what you're looking for), then add them.

Just so you know and dont get hacked, but dont get totally paranoid!!

Also if someone sends you a link ending in .co.nr NEVER CLICK IT especially if you are LOGGED ON to your stardoll account as they are automatic hacks and they can get hold of your email etc aswell as your stardoll info.

That's right, special edition DKNY! From what I can gather, it's shoes and then necklaces, available for one week. So keep those eyes open and keep checking the starplaza for your special DKNY!

The new Elle collection is now in stores! You can still get the fall/winter collection (it's now on the second floor of the Elle store), so don't worry, it's not gone quite yet.

Viruses

Hi, i dont have long.
This post is not related to stardoll i'm afraid but i promise i WILL do a post about stardoll soon (i have quite a bit to blog about on stardoll).
I just have to say i got given a virus by accident and it's almost gone from my other computer.
The virus shuts down your computer repeatedly and takes over your msn and steals your password and when you're logged on it sends a link to all your friends and in front of it it says something like "funny photo of you" or "foto? haha" which was what i got sent.
So obviously you want to see what it is because the link ends in your email adress, so you click on it, and it says, "IMG- 32535 - save file."
DONT SAVE FILE.

It's called IMG-32535, and i'm just posting this in case it happens to you (i hope it doesnt!)

Sorry guys about the non-SD related post but i HAD to tell you.

Look carefully at the two items I circled....
1. Ok, those are definitely not shorts!
2. It's hard to see in this pic, but those jeans? Those aren't boys jeans. Those are obviously girl jeans.

Fix it soon, SD! We don't need glitchy clothes.

March Hot Buys!

So I'm sure you've all seen the new March Hot Buys page of the Stardoll magazine. But I decided to procrastinate while doing my homework and rate the new hot buys. This is, after all, a hot and not blog :)

Shoes: eh. I like the design, but I don't think I have ANYTHING that will go with those colors! 5/10
Denim dress: no thanks! The gathers at the waist are a definite not. I like the cap sleeves though. 2/10
Skirt: so cute! I love the color, the pattern, the style, everything! 10/10
Pants: great, more wet looking stuff. But who knows, maybe my opinion will change once it hits the shops! 4/10
Jumpsuit: cute! I love the color. 8/10
Pink bag: pretty cute. That might go well with some dark jeans... 6/10
Bracelet: OMG I have to have it! Super cute :) 10/10
Purple dress: I won't pass final judgment yet, since it's mostly covered by the jacket. But it looks ok. 7/10
Jacket: wow, urban cowboy. Not a look I hope to try anytime soon. I know SD's trying to do a designer jacket (Chanel, I'm pretty sure), but no thanks. 4/10
Earrings: I think these would totally depend on who tries to wear them. I can see them being really cute and really not. 7/10

All in all, I'm not very impressed. We've seen much better collections. Granted there are some hot items, but as a whole, the March hb's aren't anything special.

FREE RICE

Hey guys!!
Ok i know this post isn't related to stardoll, but it's related to something i think is really important.
When i checked out Stardoll's Most Hated Website this morning, i found a post about freerice.com.
It's a website that's sorta a revision site, as you answer loads of questions, but with a brilliant reason:
every question you get right donates 10 grains of rice to children starving in Africa.

I know what you're thinking: "10 grains of rice? thats not much!" but i have answered 258 questions so far, thus (i LOVE that word) giving 2580 grains of rice to starving children.
The sponsors of this website pay for the rice, and all you have to do is answer the questions right. Also it gives you the answer when you get it wrong, so when you've got it wrong, the next time you get it right.
Now this is something i feel really strongly about, and it has everything! Chemistry, art, languages (french, german, spanish and italian), english lit and grammar, geography and maths.

So i was just thinking, maybe if you have a test the next day and you want to get a bit of revision, or if your teacher thinks you're rubbish at whatever subject it is, just visit the site and have a go.

Sorry about this long topic but i hope it gets you trying to help!

FINALLY! The new DKNY collection is out in StarPlaza :) Yay. But HOLY COW it's expensive! 18 stardollars for one dress? You're kidding, right Stardoll?

I'm sorry, there's just nothing cute about that look.

On the upside, we've discovered what the "coming soon" design shop was... the styling studio! Disappointing, I know. I mean, I was hoping for 2 new things! But I probably shouldn't have gotten my hopes up, this IS stardoll we're talking about.
